2014 Dodge Journey Key Fob Not Detected

I have a 2014 dodge journey that will not respond to key fob it also will not respond to a scan so cannot get answered by a verified dodge mechanic.

Take fob out use it to lock door then unlock door while sitting in car put fob back in ignition turn car starts.
