Brake pedal intermittently goes to floor unless i tap first then i get normal resistance.

The pedal will go to the floor as the caliper fills with fluid to close the gap.
Remove brake master cylinder 4.
If it still is soft then you will have to replace the master cylinder and bleed all the brake components again.
The booster builds up fine and then i start the car and the pedal goes all the way to the floor.
If you have exhausted all other problems check the axle bearings for play and replace any that are needed.

Bleeding the master cylinder.
Remove brake fluid lines 3.

Pump out all brake fluid 2.

I have bleed 2 quarts of fluid through the lines.
After bleeding the master cylinder proceed to check the brake pedal.
New rotors and pads as well as new drums and shoes adjusted to touch the drums but not too tight for them not to move.
Abs n new rotors and pads rear brakes with a mity vac.
I see no bubbles.
Not real quick but it goes.
In this case it will take two or more brake pedal pumps to regain its normal operation.
