The relay cover shows the terminal pin connections. Is there a way i can straight wire the fans to the battery just to see if the fan motors are bad. It has duel fans 4 wires each. First removed the top cooling fan relay and stick a paper clip or jumper between pins 3 and 5 and another between pins 7 and 8.

I have a 2003 nissan maxima that makes a funny humming sound. Drive belt idler pulley replacement 125 146 in amherst oh. Only the ac cooling fan was seen on. I had a accident when someone back up into me my hood wont close and now this sound.

I contacted the parts dept. I have replaced all 3 relays for the fan and still nothing. So i changed the thermostat and flushed the fluids and i figured i would start with the cooling fan relay s. 2000 nissan maxima blower motor not working.

The three black relays at the center of the ipdm are for cooling fan control. I have checked the fan motors and they work. Blower motor not working 2000 nissan maxima. The radiator fans are not working.

Check the fuse box on the driver side under the hood. It overheats at an idle but cools once you start driving. I was told i need to have both cooling fans working at all times. It will over heat at long idle times.
