I have a 1996 international 4700 dt466. My driveway is a little steep and if i start it on the steep part of the driveway my accelerator will. With a 26 foot box. Dt466 warning light above warn engine light on dash chirps and seconds later truck shuts down.

Hello i ve got a 2014 international prostar cummins isx and the engine is shutting off and blowing smoke if the driver opens the key the temperature starts going up and on the dash it shows a message saying abs mode and warn engine with a yellow triangle on. It does it when it s at idle and when i m slowing down to a stop light and last about 4 or 5 minutes then it shuts off and and i get my throttle back sometimes it will work for 50 feet sometimes for 20 miles but i scaned it and the only code is high low volts for oil temp sensor so i changed the oil temp. Vin wh508280 not sure about codes as not familiar with how to extract. Answered by a verified technician.

My 2001 international 4700 is throwing a warn light and then i have not throttle. While driving since the weather has gotten colder here in chicago the warn engine light comes on and the truck loses all acceleration. I m now faced with a problem on a 1999 international 4700 with a t444e engine 225 000 miles now. Intermittantly shuts down for a split second.
